Iris Kourdoumpa
Classical Ballet
Born in Greece, she completed her training in classical ballet and ballet pedagogy at the Superior Professional Dance Academy of the former ballerina of the Greek National Opera Anna Petrova. She also took part in summer courses at the Hungarian Dance Academy in Budapest and in master classes in Prague.

Since 2006 she has worked as a ballet teacher in numerous Greek ballet schools and has danced some of the most important roles in the classical repertoire, including Myrtha the Queen by Willis (Gisele), Gamzatti, Soloist -Kingdom of Shadows (La Bajadere), Pas des Trois, Bride (Swan Lake ), Fee Lilac (Sleeping Beauty), Serenade (G. Balanchine).
She also celebrated successes in dance competitions;
In 2016 she won 2nd place in Ballet and Contemporary Dance at the National Dance Arts Competition in Athens. In the 2018/2019 season she was engaged as a soloist at the Landestheater Detmold and danced in productions by Richard Lowe.
About dancing, she says that if she lived again, she would have the same dream. As a teacher, she hopes to pass on to her students not only her knowledge but also her love for dance, all its benefits, virtues and magic.
Since 2021 it has been registered by the district government of Düsseldorf within the meaning of Section 4 No. 21 UStG. accepted.
