I try to pass on the “Vaganova” technique to the students with the greatest possible accuracy and respect. Nevertheless, I think it is very important to keep an eye on today’s expectations and to develop this clean technology in a timely manner.​

Camila Gil is a professional dancer from Paraguay. She has performed as a soloist and a member of the corps de ballet with Paraguay's national ballet group and furthered her training at prestigious institutions such as the Bolshoi Brazil School and Houston Ballet. As a ballet teacher, Camila sharer her passion for dance, discipline, and creativity, and nurtures the confidence and creativity of her students.

Ballet has been an integral part of my life since a very young age, influenced by my parents, who were both professional ballet dancers in Cuba. Growing up in such an environment, I was naturally drawn to the art form, spending countless hours watching performances and videos that ignited my passion for ballet.

​

A vivid memory that stands out is a DVD my mother owned, featuring great pas de deux performances, including Baryshnikov’s Don Quixote. His incredible technique and artistry deeply inspired me, fueling my dream of one day mastering those steps and dancing like him.

Wun Sze Chan has been teaching dance (classical ballet and contemporary dance) and GYROKINESIS® movement methods for over ten years. She works in both professional and educational settings with students ranging in age from 14 to 60. Alongside her extensive 22-year professional career as a contemporary ballet dancer, her curiosity led her to explore choreography. Wun Sze Chan has been active as a professional contemporary ballet dancer since 2004; she has performed with the Bavarian State Ballet in Munich and Nederlands Dans Theater II in The Hague, and has danced as a soloist with Ballett am Rhein in Düsseldorf since 2010.

Born in Greece, she completed her training in classical ballet and ballet pedagogy at the Superior Professional Dance Academy of the former ballerina of the Greek National Opera Anna Petrova. She also took part in summer courses at the Hungarian Dance Academy in Budapest and in master classes in Prague.

Norma Magalhães, a talented dancer from Brazil, began her journey with a scholarship at the Academy of Dance in Mannheim, where she trained at the State University of Music and Performing Arts under the guidance of Birgit Keil and Eric Blanc. She first stepped onto the stage at the Badisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe, and in 2013, she kicked off her professional career as a full ensemble member with the Thuringian State Ballet. There, she shined in many solo roles across both classical and modern choreographies.

My name is Daniel Smith. Dancing has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Teaching allows me to pass on my knowledge, share my passion, and deepen my understanding of dance. I studied dance in Canada and worked as a dancer worldwide, which eventually led me to Düsseldorf. There, I worked at Ballett am Rhein until 2022. I currently work as a choreographer in Düsseldorf.

 Alfonso Bordi received his ballet training at the National Dance School in Mexico City and at the Boston School of Ballet. He danced for the Atlanta Ballet and for various contemporary companies and choreographers in Mexico, Canada, the USA and Europe. For 20 years he was a member of the ensemble NEUER TANZ in Düsseldorf.

Dina Ed Dik completed her dance training at the Fonty’s Dance Academy in Tilburg, the Netherlands. Since then she has worked as a freelance dancer and performer at various theatres and with independent companies across the Netherlands, Belgium, France, and Germany, among other countries.

I was captivated by ballet at an early age. From then on, it was clear to me that dance was my passion and the path I wanted to take. ​ Since then, I have been training intensively in Düsseldorf and have been able to expand my education through international experiences such as the John Cranko Summer School, a masterclass with Marianela Nuñez, masterclasses in Prague, and the Ballet de Catalunya Summer Intensive. ​ As a dance teacher, it is particularly important to me that my classes are a safe space where everyone feels welcome, seen, and valued. I want my students to learn not only steps, but also expressiveness, self-confidence, and the joy of movement.
