The Rosenthal Ballett Summer Intensive 2026 offers passionate dancers a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in high-level ballet training in small groups!
Led by an exceptional faculty of internationally renowned ballet artists, including
Caroline Llorca, Csaba Kvasz, Stéphane Dalle, Kauan Soares, Sébastien Mari, and distinguished guest teachers, this intensive is designed to elevate both technical precision and artistic expression.
Dancers will benefit from a thoughtfully curated daily schedule of small groups (approximately 5 hours), which includes:

Set in the heart of Düsseldorf, the program fosters personal growth, musicality,
technical as well as expressive depth in a supportive and professional atmosphere.
Whether preparing for auditions, deepening your artistry, or refining your technique, this intensive will meet you at your level and challenge you to grow beyond it.
Scholarships: Annarella Roura Sanchez has kindly offered five scholarships for the first week of her Summer Intensive 2027 at Conservatorio internacional de Ballet e Danca Annarella Sanchez, to be awarded to selected dancers from our program, creating a beautiful artistic bridge between our institutions and the start of a wonderful collaboration.

Caroline Llorca - Professor at the University of Performing Arts in Munich, Petipa - Specialist
Caroline Llorca joins the Rosenthal-Ballett Summer Intensive 2026 as Ballet Mistress for Petipa Variations.
Internationally renowned for her expertise in the Petipa repertoire and the Vaganova method, she unites French elegance with Russian classical tradition. She has taught at the Conservatoire in Paris and La Scala in Milan, and is a long-standing Professor at the University of Performing Arts in Munich. Former Ballet Mistress of Boston Ballet, Caroline Llorca is celebrated for her precise coaching, musicality, and stylistic clarity, offering dancers a rare opportunity to study Petipa at the highest artistic level.
Stéphane Dalle – International Ballet Master & Floor Barre Expert
Stéphane Dalle joins the Rosenthal Ballett Summer Intensive 2026 as Ballet Master and specialist in Floor Barre (Boris Kniaseff Method), with a strong focus on Floor Barre and its application to classical ballet technique. Stéphane Dalle trained in France and at the School of American Ballet in New York, earning early distinctions from Prix de Lausanne, Varna, and the Serge Lifar Competition. He danced as a soloist and principal with major companies worldwide until 2006, then became Ballet Master for leading institutions such as the Polish National Ballet, Royal Danish Ballet, and Opéra national du Capitole.
Sébastien Mari– Dancer, Repetiteur & Jiří Kylián Specialist
Sébastien Mari will join the Rosenthal Ballett Summer Intensive 2026 as Contemporary Dance Faculty, with a focus on the repertoire of Jiří Kylián. Sébastien Mari is internationally recognized for his deep expertise in the works of Jiří Kylián. After a distinguished performance career with leading European companies, he became a trusted repetiteur, staging and coaching Kylián’s repertoire for renowned ballet institutions worldwide. Known for his musicality, precision, and nuanced understanding of Kylián’s movement language, Mari guides dancers in embodying the choreographer’s signature fluidity, grounded technique, and emotional clarity. He will also serve as a juror at the renowned Certamen de Danza Matsuri competition in Ávila in 2026.
Kauan Soares– Dancer, Ballet Master, Rehearsal Director & Choreographer
Kauan Soares will join the Rosenthal-Ballett Summer Intensive 2026 as Ballet Master for Classical Ballet Variations.
Kauan Soares, born and raised in São Paulo, Brazil, joined the Miami City Ballet School in 2012, completing his professional ballet education there.
Today, he is a soloist with the Deutsche Oper am Rhein and works internationally as a ballet master, rehearsal director, and choreographer.
In 2025, he served as Head Judge at the Dançar a Vida Ballet Competition Festival in São Paulo, reflecting his growing impact within the global dance community.
Csaba Kvasz– International Ballet Master & University Faculty,
Japan Ballet Association
Csaba Kvasz will join the Rosenthal-Ballett Summer Intensive 2026 as Ballet Master for Classical Ballet Variations. Csaba Kvasz completed his ballet studies at the Budapest Ballet Academy and went on to perform for twenty years on the stages of major opera houses. After his stage career, he became a certified pedagogue at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen.
Since 2000, he has worked internationally as a guest teacher and ballet pedagogue in cities such as Salzburg, Amsterdam, Rotterdam (Scapino), Maastricht, Athens, and New York, as well as in Japan for the Japan Ballet Association. Renowned for his depth of experience and pedagogical clarity, he continues to influence dancers and institutions worldwide.

💶 Fee: 890€ (an exclusive, very limited-capacity two-week program led by internationally renowned ballet masters)
Admission by Video
Audition Only
To ensure a cohesive and high-level experience, we will be accepting participants based on video auditions only.
Two small groups will be formed:
- Group A: Younger dance students (min. 13 to 15 years) or those at a certain level (pre professional)
- Group B: More experienced professional dance students and dancers (min 16 to 19 years)
