Dani Siggel

Dani Siggel has been working as a dance teacher for ballet, modern and hip hop since 1995. After completing her studies in social education at the Düsseldorf University of Applied Sciences, she took part in numerous training and further education courses in the field of dance. From 1998 to 2004 she completed further training in Russian ballet methodology according to Vaganova with U. Borrmann, artistic director of the Cologne Ballet Academy. There were also further training courses in creative children's dance with Gisela Peters Rohse and in pointe dance with Eva Steinbrecher. Dani Siggel completed further training in the modern area with Carlo Melis, Dick O'Swanborn, Bridget Q. Fearn, Andy Lemond and others.

Her pedagogical activities included day-care centers and schools, and since 2013 she has been in charge of the dance project at the Adam Riese School in Meerbusch.

In 2016, Dani Siggel completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training course at Young Ho Kim Insideyoga FFM. This was followed by further training (an additional 200 hours) in the field of correct alignment and anatomy, as well as in yoga therapy with Dr. Gunter Niessen. Dani Siggel has been successfully running her own yoga studio in Meerbusch Büderich since 2015.

Her well-founded knowledge of yoga is also of great importance for teaching dance, in order to respond individually to the dancer's body and to work in an anatomically healthy manner.

Dani Siggel has been part of our team since the ballet school was founded. She teaches early dance education, ballet, modern/jazz dance and hip hop. She also undertakes choreographies for performances and the staging of stage shows, for example for the boot exhibition companies. Since 2007, Dani Siggel has been recognized by the Düsseldorf district government in accordance with §4 No. 21 UStG.
